— A note on the work
Refugee integration and education work are full of well-meant plans that struggle when they meet the field. I try to do the opposite — start from what families, teachers, and community workers are already doing, and build out from there.
That means slow listening, careful documentation, and honest conversations with funders about what change looks like in practice. It also means treating the people most affected as colleagues, not subjects.
My commitments are simple: no inflated claims, no extractive research, and no programmes that look impressive on paper but quietly fail in the field.
